8. OB or PB? Ocean Beach or Pacific Beach?

Connect English staff and students don’t agree on the best beach neighborhood (there are 7 beach communities in San Diego, but these 2 are the most popular)! Insider Tip: Visit Sunset Cliffs in OB for the most beautiful sunset in San Diego!

9. Waterfront Embarcadero (Downtown)

The ocean, downtown, and parks meet at San Diego’s waterfront Embarcadero region. Visit historic navy ships like the Star of India. Eat & drink at a waterfront restaurant like Portside Pier. Walk around and shop at the Waterfront Park.
