Student Services Director
Nicholas Sacco is a native Californian. He moved to San Diego in the year 2000 in order to get his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.
In addition to his teaching experience in San Diego, he has taught in Tijuana, Mexico and in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He likes teaching idioms, phrasal verbs and other useful language that helps students understand common American communication, and he enjoys practicing his Portuguese and Spanish skills.
Academic Director
Adam Cooke is a well-respected English instructor with a wealth of experience teaching and living in more than 8 countries across the globe.
He has taught in a variety of English language programs including at the secondary and university level. Adam loves interacting with students from all over the world and helping them feel comfortable and confident communicating in English.

Administrative Director
Andrea Reyes was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and has lived in the United States since 2008. She speaks English, Spanish, and French. She has a great deal of experience working in administration for various international companies including United Airlines and Aeroméxico.
Having studied Hospitality and Tourism at the University Salle del Bajio, Andrea knows exactly how to provide great service to international students. She is an expert at helping international students and making sure that their experiences studying and living in the United States are positive and memorable.
Student Resources Coordinator
Dermot Rodgers is a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland. He came to the United States in 1980 and earned a BA in Social & Behavioral Sciences at Borromeo College of Ohio and an MA in Theology and M.Div from Oblate College in Washington, D.C.
Having served as a priest in parishes in the east coast of the United States, Puerto Rico and Honduras, Dermot is in love with helping people become the best person they can. He has worked extensively with immigrants helping them further their education by getting their GED, or improving their English so that they can go to college and/or get a great job.
After moving west to California, Dermot earned his TESOL Certification and is very happy to be a founding teacher with CONNECT ENGLISH, San Diego.
