This week, on Thursday, June 15th, Connect English is hosting our RIPL (Required In-person Learning) event! We host this event every 8 weeks and it brings all of our students, online or on campus, together to meet in person for the first time.
We are so excited that the time has come to welcome all of our wonderful students into our campus in beautiful San Diego. This event will be one to remember! Students from all over the world come to sunny San Diego not only to experience all of what the city has to offer but to experience authentic English language training.
Our campus is located in the heart of America’s finest city! Students who will be joining us will experience fun and effective learning opportunities from meeting their teachers and fellow classmates to enjoying the food truck that will be on campus!
In addition to the fun and exciting English practice, there will be a food truck, scavenger hunts, games and more! If you are not familiar with food trucks, they have become incredibly popular in the last 15 years and are an infamous American way of dining that we would love our students to experience. Students will be able to buy their lunch from the food truck that will be just down the stairs.
Connect English is determined to introduce all the fun little traditions and experiences that the American culture has to offer leaving students with the authentic experience they will never forget,they will come back up to a day filled with activities and learning opportunities.
This event is a wonderful reminder on what life was before the pandemic and how great in person learning can impact students mental health. Socializing with your peers and people with the same interest as you could have a positive impact on students, especially those who might feel homesick or miss their families. Our wonderful teachers and staff members are already preparing to welcome everyone on our beautiful campus!
