The first day, I noticed how cool the atmosphere was; people from all around the world, fun teachers and staff. The English classes are dynamic and the academy offers at least a group activity every week in which you can meet other students, practice English and enjoy San Diego. I have completed my first level in Connect English school and I feel that my English is improving. I am excited about starting the next level and to keep improving my English.

I chose Connect English and now I know it was a good choice. The atmosphere in classes is fantastic and the teachers are very nice and friendly. If you don't understand something, they explain it to you by giving excellent examples. I was enjoying my classes every day. I spent a great time there. I improved my language skills and I met a lot of wonderful people from different countries, with which I had a lot of fun. CE is not only a great opportunity to improve your English but also the chance of meeting new friends and seeing a really picturesque San Diego!

I personally benefit a lot from this institute in general. Before attending, my English was not very good, but I can speak English fluently now. Hi, everybody! My name is Nazym, I am from Kazakhstan, Central Asia. I arrived with my husband Yermek in this wonderful English Connect School in San Diego at the end of July. Now it’s my third month of studying English. Soon we’ll leave to our country. I didn’t know that it will be hard to part with my wonderful teachers, like Brian, Thomas and Jill. At first it was difficult to understand the local Americans and to explain what I wanted to say in English. Thanks to my teachers, I surpassed all these difficulties.

Adam helped us with our adaptation in San Diego. He’s like the sun at our school. He’s very kind, always smiles and remembers all the names of the students in the school.

San Diego is a paradise on Earth. Here it is always warm and sunny, with beautiful nature and many varieties of flowers. On the weekend we spent our time on the Pacific Ocean, the port, the grand beautiful park Balboa, the Zoo, Sea World, museums and of course shopping.

This school actually connects people from different countries around the world, like Japan, Brazil, China, Korea, France, Italy, Russia, Kurdistan, Saudi Arabia etc. And all of us use English.

When I started studying at Connect English, my first intention was to prepare for the TOEFL for one month and after apply to a university. But after some meetings with Adam Cooke, the Academic Director, I was invited to work at Connect as an intern. I didn’t think twice. I accepted and I’m sure that was the best choice ever. I had the opportunity to continue studying English and also work in my field! It’s impossible to not love this place. I’m grateful for the best experience of my life!

My name is Abos and I study economics in Germany. I wanted to make my vacation in San Diego for one month and take the opportunity to improve my English skills. I looked for English schools in San Diego, and this was a good decision. The staff is friendly and the teachers are well qualified. Especially Soraya is every day on fire and she offers a lot to give you the most important skills for the TOEFL exam and she knows the exam like the back of her hand. In addition we discussed various, current and interesting topics.
