A homestay is one of the best ways to experience American daily life, learn about American culture, and focus on your English language development. Connect will match you with a family and home that are right for you. Our homestay partners have many years of experience and have a clear understanding of the needs of international students.

Connect offers reasonable, practical, and affordable housing options for international students. Host families play a very important role in the international student experience. Students will be treated as members of the family and will have the opportunity to experience the American lifestyle firsthand. The student’s family will encourage him / her to participate in aspects of their family life and will provide students with a wonderful opportunity to practice their English (two-week minimum).

Single room - includes breakfast and dinner

Pricing: $245.00 per week

Shared room - includes breakfast and dinner

Pricing: $195.00 per week

Accommodation Fee: $150

Short-term housing:

Short-term housing is available at hotels, apartments, and international student housing complexes in Mission Valley, Downtown, and in the San Diego State University (College) area. Prices and accommodations vary according to season and availability. Accommodation prices start as low as $750/month.
